How to Deal with Negative Emotions that are Out of Control

What is the best way to overcome frustration and anger as a young adult? For young adults, frustration can come from many different places: school, entrance exams, hormones. It is important at this age to release pent-up anger and frustration in a healthy manner. However, so many young adults trying to release their frustration are causing themselves and others more harm. Washing dishes and other chores might be the answer. Washing dishes helps you release that pent-up energy through muscle movements. Second, as you rinse dirty plates with water, you are also metaphorically cleaning yourself. Just simply being in contact with water gives oneself the feeling of being spiritually clean. In school, learning is not limited to school. It is also important to learn to deal with frustration in a healthy and meaningful way.
